This Privacy Policy details how and when information is collected, used or shared when you purchase an item, contact or otherwise use services through patternorium.co.uk.
Information Collected
To fulfil your order, you must provide certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment method (Patternorium only sees the way you have paid for an item, e.g. paypal or card, and has no access to actual bank or card details) and the details of the product that you’re ordering.
The information you give use will be used for:

Patternorium will only send you emails, in regards to orders or when you have contacted us to request information or services (if you wish to be sent promotional emails you will have to fill in the subscribe to website form available at the bottom of the page).
Patternorium will only send newsletters or promotional emails when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by subscribing to the website/newsletter.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
Customer information will be shared only to fulfill certain business obligations:

Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services e.g. posting your order.

Data Retention
All information is kept securely and in line with UK laws on personal password protected computer. No paper records of your information are kept.
Information relating to purchases is generally kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
Quotes and general enquiry emails will be removed from our records after 6 months.
We do not store, process or have access to your card details, they are processed and stored via third party payment service providers: PayPal & Stripe, who will keep your information encrypted and secure. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies available on their websites.
Your Rights

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information held about you by contacting Patternorium using the contact information below.

Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict use of, or delete personal information. Unless there are exceptional circumstances (such as being required to store data for legal reasons) your personal information will be deleted upon request.

Object. You can object to receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, your personal information will be deleted unless there are compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
