Patternorium is an innovative and versatile Surface Pattern Design Company that provides high quality, decorative patterns across a wide range of product areas.

Formed in 2014 by Jo Burgess a freelance textile designer, and recent First Class Honours Degree Graduate in Fashion and Textiles from the University of Wolverhampton, as the next step in developing her career as a Surface Pattern Designer. However she has been involved in producing designs on an independent freelance basis since 2009, her designs have sold steadily to customers on wallpaper and fabric products and have won International public competitions.

In the last 2 years since the formation of Patternorium, Jo has gone on to sell and licence many individual designs as well as collections to Industry and collaborated on many projects. She has designed and produced a large scale exhibition for The Mander Centre Shopping Centre in Wolverhampton, as well as participating in group shows. Her products are now stocked in high Street shops as well as online stores,

and she has also completed an MA in Applied Arts, at University of Wolverhampton phew!

Managing to fit in all that around her family life (a husband, two children and a snail!)

Whilst Jo would actually quite appreciate a lie down at some point, it seems she is not ready to rest just yet and has several new product lines in development.
